Strengths: When the signal isn't being interferred with, picture is good. Good range
Weakness: Singal interference from other 2.4ghz devices, and other electronics
Works reasonably well. Biggest problem is signal interference from other electronic and 2.4 ghz devices. My neighbor has a wireless router that really messes with my Terk...I can tell when the router is on, the picture gets a lot of "static". The Terk does allow you to adjust the "channel" that it transmits on...that helps, but it seems like sometimes it's a losing battle. When it works, it's...
Strengths: Excellent value. Eliminates wires.
Weakness: None.
After installation, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the picture and sound. Considering the fact that I have several active 2.4GHz products operating at the same time, to have the LF-30S system produce a quality picture and sound with little/no interference says a lot about the quality of this product.
Strengths: Does transmit signal exactly like it says and hooks up easy
Weakness: The flesh tones especially, were washed out looking. People had a kind of purple look on their faces. Adjusting the colors would not help it.
My TV is a big screen and is about 9 years old. I am not sure that the washed out look would occur in a newer TV. The transmitter does work as stated, so the colors being washed out could be a problem with my TV.
Strengths: Works great - no cables!
Weakness: My cordless 2.4 GHZ phone interferes with the picture when in use.
I plan to buy more receivers to connect tv's in other rooms. Telephone interference is not a big problem for me. Just having no cables to deal with is a big plus.
Strengths: Able to eliminate long wire runs.
Weakness: Lot of interference if not in line of sight.
Used in 2 separate rooms which tried connecting a Digital Recorder to a TV in another room. The distance was around 20 to 30 feet apart. I am not sure if concrete walls makes a difference. There was too much interference, even tried all 4 different channels that it came with. It appears to work decently if the transmitter and receiver are in line of sight which I had tested.
Strengths: Very easy hook-up. Good price via Pricegrabber, higher retail price in stores.
Weakness: None
The Leapfrog is an amazing invention. It allows you to have all the televisions in your home or office wirelessly connected to your cable or satellite system. Setup was fairly simple with just a few connections. What was surprising was that there was no interference from other wireless devices such as 802.11B wireless router and the 2.4ghz telephone. I would recommend the Leapfrog to anyone who...
Strengths: i can't believe how clear the picture in the other room.
Weakness: just alittle static if i have a phone call w./my wireless home phone
i was being the guinee pig experiments among my friends, lol. so i bought this product first and if it's good they'll get the same. I received it about few days ago and i did a quick installation and WOW, it's great. so yeah i'm getting 1 more receiver and my friends, hmmm somebody is getting rich.
Strengths: easy to set it up and w/ IR remote relay.
Weakness: A lot of interference by 2.4GHz devices.
The transmission is good only from 1 room to the other. When i put them apart from upper floor to lower floor. I've a lot of interference. It doesn't work in my condo at all.
Strengths: Good Audio/Video Signal....IR Extender works as Advertised...I take spend time to get signal because I have the Wi-fi network but thanks to 4-switch channels I get it signal sharper.
Weakness: Be warned when you have more 2.4ghz devices in the hometown, especially the microwave and Wi-fi networks.
Works as advertised....I happy with the results. I get it for send signal from my Sattelite box to a room in a second floor and I don't need to get more boxes (extra money) and works too with my wireless camera.

Terk LF-30S 2.4 GHz Wireless A/V Transmitter and...
Strengths: Performed as advertised. Simple hookup.
Weakness: Lots of interference in small house with microwave, phone, etc. Picture quality highly degraded on large TV. No S-video cable option(didn't convert or "modulate" signal). "ears" seem breakable
First, let me describe what I was attempting to do, since it wasn't your average hookup, probably. I was attempting to run my Cable TV wire coming into my house, into my HP MediaCenter PC Tuner card. Then, from my Tuner card, I wanted to run out using S-Video to the Terk transmitter device. From the Terk receiver, I wanted to run into the television. The goal: to record TV using my PC and also...
